About The Position

Our high-quality medical clinic team operates locations across Kentucky, Tennessee, and North and South Carolina. We specialize in the evaluation, treatment, and rehabilitation of a wide range of injuries and musculoskeletal conditions, including workplace injuries, sports-related injuries, slip-and-fall accidents, repetitive stress injuries, and other acute and chronic pain conditions. Our experienced medical team is dedicated to helping patients recover safely, restore function, and return to their daily activities as quickly as possible. Through personalized treatment plans and patient-centered care, we have become a trusted choice for injury recovery and rehabilitation. This is a full-time role that will primarily support our Louisville-Downtown clinic. This position will occasionally travel to support our Louisville-South clinic (on Dixie Hwy), once a month at our Lexington clinic, and twice a month at our Elizabethtown clinic. Mileage reimbursement is available and this role is bonus eligible!

Requirements

  • Must have a valid, unrestricted professional license in the state of Kentucky and be able to obtain clinical privileges to practice medicine
  • Experience in Automobile Personal Injury or Workman’s Comp
  • Highly proficient with computers, especially EMR Software, Meaningful Use, Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
  • Ability to manage high levels of stress and capable of making sound difficult decisions.

Nice To Haves

  • DEA Registration, preferred (PA candidates are not required to have DEA)

Responsibilities

  • Identify and assess patient’s clinical issues and health care needs
  • Record physical findings, and formulates plan and prognosis, based on patient’s condition and the doctor’s plan of treatment
  • Evaluations and Re-evaluations of established patients
  • Refers patients to Physician for consultation or to specialized health resources for treatment when needed.
  • Discusses the case with Physician and other health professionals to prepare a comprehensive patient care plan
  • Performs pain management injections for specific diagnoses according to practice protocols
  • Prescribe/Order as medically indicated:- Diagnostics- Therapeutics- Medication- Pain Management Procedures- DME
  • Eagerness and ability to work independently as well as part of a team with flexibility and willingness to learn and take initiative on variety of tasks and projects
  • Supports the vision and culture of the organization.
  • Demonstrates personal commitment through active involvement in the performance improvement process
  • Regular and reliable attendance with the ability to work in satellite offices around the area
  • All other duties as assigned
