About The Position

This is a student employment position at the Office of Community Service, specifically for the APNH (Association for রোগীর স্বাস্থ্যসেবা and Neighborhood Development) office. The role involves staffing the reception area, handling phone calls, greeting clients, and performing various administrative tasks to support the agency. This includes typing, filing, ordering and organizing supplies, developing correspondence, and updating databases and spreadsheets. The position requires adherence to APNH's standard operating procedures regarding confidentiality of funding, personnel, and client information. Applicants must be able to multi-task and possess good interpersonal, telephone, and communication skills.

Requirements

  • Good interpersonal skills
  • Good telephone rapport
  • Strong oral and written communication skills
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office including, Word, Excel and Outlook
  • Ensure confidentiality in all aspects of funding, personnel and client information according to APNH’s standard operating procedure manual.
  • Ability to multi-task
  • Between 6-8 hours availability per week during the agencies operational hours
  • Reliable form of transportation

Responsibilities

  • Staff reception area and answer and direct phone calls, greet clients and file incoming mail
  • Support areas of the agency through: typing, filing, ordering and organizing supplies, etc.
  • Additional administrative duties may be required such as developing correspondence, excel databases or updating of databases and spreadsheets
