APIGEE OPDK Engineer - Senior Software Engineer

Requirements
- 7 plus years of relevant experience
- Extensive hands-on experience with Apigee OPDK (On-Premises Deployment) administration, installation, configuration, and support.
- Strong expertise in Linux/Unix system administration and virtualized environments (VMs).
- Proven experience with Apigee Proxy debugging, troubleshooting, performance tuning, and issue resolution.
- Experience supporting enterprise API gateways and API lifecycle management.
- Security clearance required for this role - Active GSA Security Clearance is required, TS Clearance preferred, but not required.
Responsibilities
- Administer and support Apigee OPDK environments across development, testing, and production.
- Troubleshoot and resolve API proxy, connectivity, authentication, and performance-related issues.
- Manage and maintain Linux servers and virtual machine infrastructure supporting Apigee platforms.
- Monitor platform health, capacity, and availability to ensure optimal performance.
- Implement security patches, upgrades, and configuration changes.
- Collaborate with development, operations, and security teams to support API integrations.
