About The Position

Turner Industries is seeking an experienced API 510 / 570 Inspector with CWI for full-time work in Salt Lake City, UT. This role will perform duties associated with NDE of materials in accordance to referencing code. The position requires API 510/570 Inspection and the ability to follow and draw isometric drawings. This is a non-exempt role that reports to the Site Manager and involves close supervision with assigned duties according to specific procedures. Work is checked frequently. Local candidates only are preferred, and no per diem will be provided.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• API 510/570 Certification
• CWI required
• TWIC card is required
• Valid API certifications and relevant experience
• Must have a valid drivers license
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, turnaround environment
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety compliance
• Certifications and resume documentation needed
• Must possess excellent communication, interpersonal, organizational and problem-solving skills
• Post-offer drug/alcohol screen and physical evaluation
• Job site safety requirements as required by the client (clean shaven, long sleeves, steel toe boots, etc.)
• Safety equipment as required by the client (hard hat, safety glasses, gloves, respirator, hearing protection, safety harness with lanyard, etc.)
• Applicant/employee must not pose a direct threat to the health or safety of such individual or others in the workplace

Responsibilities

• Perform duties associated with NDE of materials in accordance with reference code
• Assist in performing duties associated with NDE of materials in accordance with reference code
• Assist with nondestructive testing equipment set-up
• Assist in calibrating nondestructive testing equipment
• Assist in applying testing criteria in accordance with procedures and standards
• Assist in performing other job-related tasks as assigned by certified inspector/technician
• Perform additional assignments per supervisor's direction
