Echo NDE is currently seeking a full-time Certified API 510 Inspector with strong In-Service Inspection (ISI) experience and NDT UT1/MT/PT Certifications.

Requirements

  • Current API 510 Certification.
  • ABSA In-Service Pressure Equipment Inspector (ISI) Certification.
  • CGSB Ultrasonic Testing (UT1) Certification.
  • CGSB Magnetic Particle Testing (MT2) Certification.
  • CGSB Liquid Penetrant Testing (PT2) Certification.
  • Current First Aid, H2S Alive, Confined Space Entry/Rescue, Fall Protection, CSO, and EWP training.
  • Resides locally to Edmonton or Calgary, AB.
  • Detail oriented and well organized.
  • Strong analytical and communication skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment as part of a team, as well as independently.
  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Suite.

Nice To Haves

  • TSASK In-Service Inspector Authorization would be considered an asset.
  • CWB certification would be considered an asset.

Responsibilities

  • Perform API 510 in-service inspections (ISI) across client facilities, utilizing a variety of inspection methods and working with different types of pressure equipment based on client requirements.
  • Conduct NDT examinations, including Ultrasonic Testing (UT1) Magnetic Particle Testing (MT2) and Liquid Penetrant Testing (PT2) accordance with applicable codes, standards, and procedures.
  • Interpret and evaluate inspection and NDT results to assess equipment integrity and identify reportable indications.
  • Prepare detailed, accurate, and timely inspection and NDT reports in accordance with company and client standards.
  • Coordinate with administrative staff to compile, review, and finalize reports for client submission.
  • Ensure all work is performed in compliance with applicable safety regulations, quality standards, and client specifications.
  • Establish and maintain strong working relationships with clients, site personnel, and internal team members.
