About The Position

Acuren is seeking certified API 510/570 Inspectors with NDT certifications to support operations in Tulsa, Oklahoma. This role involves conducting visual examinations independently, evaluating materials, welds, and components for conformity with codes, standards, and client specifications. Level II inspectors are expected to identify discontinuities, determine acceptability, and assist in training Level I personnel, demonstrating a solid understanding of inspection techniques, documentation, and quality assurance. Local candidates in Tulsa, Oklahoma are preferred. The schedule is 4x10s with 7 days of per diem.

Requirements

Certification of American Petroleum Institute Standards 510/570
6 – 8 years’ experience or 4+ years on site experience with certifications
In-depth working knowledge of API 510/570 and ASME standards
Experience working in direct support of petrochemical facility engineers
Certified Level II NDT
Technical background in NDT methods and procedures
Demonstrated ability to effectively perform assigned NDT tasks and interpret results of inspections
Knowledge of NDT equipment
Experience in report writing
Local to Tulsa OK

Responsibilities

Perform visual and non-destructive examination of static and dynamic pressure retaining equipment in accordance with API and ASME standards.
Submit technically accurate reports documenting equipment condition to the client.
Provide technical recommendations for repair, re-rate, replacement, and/or alteration of plant equipment for safe operation.
Provide technical input to the client for welding and metallurgical issues.
Provide technical guidance on the application of non-destructive examination techniques and procedures.
Comply with all Acuren and client safe work practices and actively participate in site safety initiatives.
Willingness to travel if needed.
