About The Position

Legacy Behavioral Health is seeking an APEX Therapist to join their team in Lowndes County. This role involves supporting individuals and families with behavioral health services. Duties include completing psychosocial assessments, participating in treatment teams, planning and monitoring treatment, and discharge planning. Therapists provide individual, family, and group counseling and must be familiar with all populations served in the outpatient clinic, including Child & Adolescent, Adult MH, and Adult SA. Collaboration with community referral sources and physicians is essential for continuity of care. The APEX Therapist will be supervised by the OP MANAGE.

Requirements

• Master’s degree in social work, psychology, or counseling with a supervised clinical practicum
• Degree must be license eligible
• Clinical license (LCSW, LMSW, LMFT, LAMFT, LPC, LAPC) and have experience working in the social services field; preferred
• Someone who is dedicated to quality work
• Someone who is a self-starter and goal orientated
• A valid Georgia driver’s license
• Excellent problem-solving and interpersonal skills including verbal and written communication, conflict resolution, and teamwork
• Computer experience

Nice To Haves

• Clinical license (LCSW, LMSW, LMFT, LAMFT, LPC, LAPC) and have experience working in the social services field
