About The Position

Legacy Behavioral Health is seeking an APEX Therapist to join their team in Lowndes County. This role involves supporting individuals and families with behavioral health services. Duties include completing psychosocial assessments, participating in treatment teams, planning and monitoring treatment, and discharge planning. Therapists provide individual, family, and group counseling. Familiarity with Child & Adolescent, Adult MH, and Adult SA populations is required. Collaboration with community referral sources and physicians is necessary for continuity of care. The APEX Therapist will be supervised by the OP MANAGE.

Requirements

• Master's degree in social work, psychology, or counseling with a supervised clinical practicum
• Degree must be license eligible
• Clinical license (LCSW, LMSW, LMFT, LAMFT, LPC, LAPC)
• Experience working in the social services field
• A valid Georgia driver’s license
• Excellent problem-solving and interpersonal skills including verbal and written communication, conflict resolution, and teamwork
• Computer experience
