As an Apartment Service Technician, you'll help create an exceptional living experience by completing resident service requests promptly and professionally, troubleshooting and repairing HVAC systems, appliances, plumbing, electrical, and general maintenance issues, preparing apartment homes for new residents through quality make-ready work, performing preventive maintenance to keep building systems operating efficiently, assisting with pool maintenance, grounds support, and community appearance as needed, working closely with the Service Manager to identify maintenance priorities and improve operations, and participating in a rotating on-call schedule to respond to emergency maintenance requests. Your work directly impacts resident satisfaction—and you'll see the difference you make every day.
Requirements
- EPA Certification (or equivalent HVAC certification)
- Minimum two years of apartment maintenance experience
- Strong knowledge of HVAC systems, plumbing, electrical, carpentry, appliance repair, and general maintenance
- Ability to diagnose and repair maintenance issues efficiently
- Personal maintenance tools
- Valid driver's license, reliable transportation, and current automobile insurance
- Ability to participate in an on-call rotation
- Comfortable using a smartphone, tablet, and maintenance software
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Ability to work independently while contributing to a collaborative team environment
Nice To Haves
- Certified Pool Operator (CPO) certification
- Experience maintaining older apartment communities
- Bilingual (English/Spanish)
Responsibilities
- Completing resident service requests promptly and professionally
- Troubleshooting and repairing HVAC systems, appliances, plumbing, electrical, and general maintenance issues
- Preparing apartment homes for new residents through quality make-ready work
- Performing preventive maintenance to keep building systems operating efficiently
- Assisting with pool maintenance, grounds support, and community appearance as needed

- Utilizing mobile technology and maintenance software to manage work orders and communicate effectively
