About The Position

We have an Apartment Manager position at our Management Support property with 266 apartment units. The compensation is based on experience and anticipated performance, with a pay rate in the range of $76,000 - $82,000 per year. We are particularly looking for applicants who are confident that their management skills and personality will yield high productivity. Applicants with REIT and large property management company experience are welcome. MS manages its own luxury Class A and B + multifamily apartments with extraordinary interior and community amenities. We presently manage about 13,500 Class A units within 36 properties. We are dedicated to providing our residents an outstanding living experience including the highest level of resident service without differed maintenance. We are looking for organized and responsible individuals who take pride in their work. Requirements

  • Five (5) years property management experience
  • Proficiency in Word, Excel and Outlook
  • Proficiency with apartment management software, RealPage a plus
  • Strong communication and organizational skills
  • Ability to learn and follow written policy
  • Stable work history
  • Current driver's license, with verifiable auto insurance.

  • Some college preferred
  • Multifamily management certificates a plus
  • Association & REIT Certificates a plus
  • Bilingual (any language) a plus

Responsibilities

  • Supervise/manage large leasing and maintenance staff
  • Ability to supervise while delegating authority and job functions
  • Work well with both regional supervisors and central administration
  • Familiarity with A/P & A/R processing
  • Perform property and unit inspections
  • Ability to handle both employee and resident issues respectfully and, when necessary, firmly
