About The Position

The Apartment Make Ready Technician prepares and restores vacant apartments for new resident move-ins at Ravello at Tuscan Lakes, a 244-unit property. The role performs minor maintenance and repairs, painting, caulking, light drywall work, and grounds upkeep while coordinating with the maintenance team to complete unit turns on time and uphold safety, quality, and cleanliness standards. The work involves regular physical activity and takes place indoors and in community common areas. Employees must follow the company uniform policy; uniforms are provided on the first day. Candidates must live within 20 miles of the property or be willing to relocate.

Requirements

• Prior apartment make ready experience is required.
• Basic carpentry, electrical, plumbing, and construction repair abilities.
• Strong attention to detail and pride in producing quality work.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
• Personal set of basic hand tools.
• Ability to lift 40–50 lbs.
• Dependability, strong work ethic, and a positive attitude.
• Live within a 20-mile radius of the property or be willing to relocate.
• Ability to perform regular standing, walking, reaching, bending, lifting, and carrying.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs individually and up to 100 lbs with assistance.
• Must comply with the company's uniform policy.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and restore vacant apartments for new resident move-ins.
• Perform minor electrical, plumbing, carpentry, and general maintenance and repairs.
• Repair or service sinks, showers, appliances, cabinets, doors, fixtures, and related items.
• Change bulbs; replace light fixtures, switches, outlets, and damaged hardware.
• Inspect locks, keys, and weather stripping; re-key or repair as needed.
• Complete interior and exterior painting and caulking.
• Perform light drywall repairs, including patching, texturing, sanding, and finishing.
• Assist with grounds upkeep, including trash pickup, blowing breezeways, pressure washing, and maintaining clean common areas.
• Work with the maintenance team to ensure timely unit turn completion.
• Uphold safety, quality, and cleanliness standards throughout the community.
