Legend Property Group, a subsidiary of The Monument Companies, is seeking to hire a full-time Maintenance Technician to service a growing inventory of beautiful, apartment units. Our Maintenance Technicians earn a competitive wage of $19-$24/hour based on experience. Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Related work experience or relevant education/training
  • Valid driver's license and good driving record
  • Ability to work in various weather conditions
  • Physical ability to lift and carry 50 lbs and work from varying heights
  • Ability to pass a background check

Nice To Haves

  • Maintenance-related certifications are not required but are a plus - especially HVAC!

Responsibilities

  • Ensure that residents always have safe and comfortable apartments that are in good repair.
  • Execute a wide range of handyman tasks involved with general home maintenance.
  • Maintain and repair appliances, plumbing, minor HVAC issues, and electrical work.
  • Perform painting, caring for the grounds, and pool maintenance.
  • Quickly respond to maintenance requests submitted by tenants and keep them updated on scheduling and work status.
  • Provide exceptional customer service.
  • Check exterior and interior areas for safety, cleanliness, and needed repairs.
  • Prepare apartment units for re-leasing which involves cleaning and painting.
  • Handle a combination of daily checklists, occasional tasks, and unexpected surprises.
