About The Position
Monarch Investment and Management is hiring a full-time Apartment Maintenance Technician. This role is responsible for completing work orders, turning and preparing units between tenants, and performing various repairs including plumbing, electrical, carpentry, drywall, and HVAC. The position also involves assisting with preventative maintenance, exterior structural maintenance, and grounds maintenance, including snow removal. A key responsibility is participating in a 24/7 emergency on-call system.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 1+ year experience in the maintenance field preferred
- Basic knowledge of drywall, painting, and carpentry experience
- Some plumbing and electrical experience
- Working knowledge of appliances to include washers and dryers
- Ability to physically demonstrate basic job duties (completed during interview process)
- Pre-employment screenings, including a criminal background check and drug screening
Nice To Haves
- EPA Universal Certification a plus
- CPO Certification a plus
Responsibilities
- Complete work orders in a timely manner based on priority
- Turning and making units ready in between tenant occupancy
- Completing repairs in property and apartment plumbing, electrical, carpentry, drywall, and HVAC
- Assist in preventative maintenance as assigned
- Exterior structural maintenance as needed
- Assist in property grounds maintenance and snow removal as needed
- Assist in coverage of a 24/7 emergency on-call system
