About The Position

Monarch Investment and Management Group is hiring an Apartment Maintenance Technician to join our team at Indian Hills Apartments, a well-maintained 120-unit community located on Winona Way on Sioux City’s North Side of town. If you have apartment maintenance or residential maintenance experience and enjoy troubleshooting, unit turns, HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and general repairs, we'd like to meet you. We're looking for someone who takes pride in quality work, enjoys working independently, and wants to build a long-term career with a company that promotes from within.

Requirements

At least 1 year of apartment, residential, or facilities maintenance experience preferred.
Experience with HVAC, plumbing, electrical, appliance repair, drywall, painting, and carpentry.
CPO certification required
Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
Ability to work Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM– 5:00 PM
Ability to participate in the on-call rotation approximately one week every three weeks.

Nice To Haves

EPA & HVAC certifications are a plus but not required.

Responsibilities

Complete resident service requests and work orders.
Prepare apartment homes for new residents by completing quality unit turns.
Repair HVAC systems, plumbing, electrical, appliances, drywall, painting, carpentry, and other building systems.
Perform preventative maintenance throughout the community.
Participate in the rotating on-call schedule.

$20.00–$25.00 per hour DOE
Up to $3,000 annually in quarterly bonuses
