About The Position

Adara Communities is seeking an experienced and technically skilled Apartment Maintenance Technician to lead a service team at a high-volume community. This role involves overseeing daily operations, completing service requests, coordinating make-readies and upgrades, and ensuring efficient unit turns. The technician will also manage inventory, support the Property Manager, and maintain community standards for safety and resident satisfaction. Requirements

• Minimum 2 Year(s) Previous Experience as a Lead Maintenance Technician in multifamily housing REQUIRED (including team supervision)
• Valid HVAC Certification REQUIRED
• Valid Drivers License and reliable transportation
• Stable work history
• A personal set of basic hand tools
• Proven ability to coach, train, and lead service technicians
• Strong organizational, troubleshooting, and time-management skills
• Willingness to participate in on-call rotation
• Candidates must live within a 20-mile radius of the property or be willing to relocate.

Nice To Haves

• Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus but not required.

Responsibilities

• Lead, train, and guide maintenance staff throughout daily operations
• Complete and oversee service requests to ensure timely, high-quality results
• Coordinate and assist with make-readies, upgrades, and maintenance schedules
• Ensure all work orders and unit turns are completed efficiently and accurately
• Participate in the on-call rotation as scheduled
• Maintain organized inventory and ensure proper use of tools/equipment
• Support the Property Manager with various maintenance projects and initiatives
• Uphold community standards for safety, cleanliness, and resident satisfaction
