About The Position

Monarch Investment and Management Group is seeking a Maintenance Technician to join their team in Williston, ND. This is a hands-on maintenance position at The Reserve at Bison Crossing community with guaranteed full-time hours. The role focuses on HVAC related work orders, but may also include plumbing, electrical, appliance repair, unit turn maintenance, and snow removal. Requirements

• Valid driver's license required
• Appliance repair skills
• Plumbing skills
• Must participate in a monthly rotation of a 24/7 on call emergency cell phone (1 week every 4 weeks)
• You will be asked to complete a written skills maintenance test to help assess your skill level as part of the interview process.
• This role requires pre-employment screenings that include a criminal background check, drug screening, and a valid Drivers License

Nice To Haves

• EPA Certification preferred
• Multifamily experience preferred, but all maintenance professionals are encouraged to apply

Responsibilities

• Ensure all assigned work orders are completed in a timely manner.
• Focus on HVAC related work orders including diagnosing and repairing common HVAC issues, detecting and soldering refrigerant leaks, recharging freon gas, changing failing compressors and blower motors, replacing limit switches & fuses, and other common HVAC problems.
• Perform basic preventative maintenance including filter changes and coil cleanings.
• Perform non-HVAC repairs including plumbing, electrical, and appliances.
• Complete some unit turn maintenance and cleaning.
• Participate in a monthly rotation of a 24/7 on-call emergency cell phone (1 week every 4 weeks).
• Perform snow removal when needed during the winter season.
