About The Position

We're looking for an experienced Maintenance Technician III to help us provide exceptional housing communities while building a rewarding career. As our Lead Maintenance Technician, you'll be the technical expert and leader who helps ensure our residents have safe, comfortable, and well-maintained homes. You'll tackle challenging repairs, support fellow technicians, and help drive operational excellence across the property.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Minimum of 4 years of maintenance experience.
  • EPA Certification and/or relevant trade certifications.
  • Advanced knowledge of HVAC, electrical, plumbing, appliances, and building systems.
  • Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills.
  • Leadership experience or the ability to mentor and guide others.
  • Valid driver's license, acceptable driving record, and reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

  • Diagnose and resolve complex HVAC, plumbing, electrical, appliance, and structural issues.
  • Serve as the lead technician and primary escalation point for difficult repairs.
  • Prioritize, assign, and monitor work orders to ensure timely completion.
  • Oversee preventative maintenance schedules and property inspections.
  • Lead apartment turns and ensure units are completed on time and to quality standards.
  • Train, mentor, and support maintenance team members.
  • Coordinate vendor and contractor work to ensure quality and compliance.
  • Promote a strong culture of safety and accountability.
  • Participate in an on-call rotation and respond to emergency maintenance needs.
