Superior Contracting & Maintenance is seeking experienced professionals for a 1099 Contractor role as an Apartment Maintenance Technician / Punch-List Technician. This position offers the flexibility to manage your own schedule and earnings, with opportunities for full-time or part-time hours, making it ideal for picking up additional work. The company has over 13 years of experience in home repair and maintenance, serving a diverse client base across multiple states including AL, AZ, GA, FL, NC, OK, SC, TN, and TX. Their scope of work is extensive, covering plumbing, HVAC, electrical, carpentry, tree work, roofing, drywall repair, interior and exterior painting, flooring, remediation, make-readies, appliances, and more. Technicians typically work within their local areas, supporting property management partners, assisting homeowners directly, and managing larger contracts.

Requirements

• Strong communication skills, professionalism, and a dependable, punctual work ethic
• Must own a truck, van, or SUV capable of transporting tools and materials
• Must have your own tools and be able to work independently
• Ability to lift and handle heavy tools and equipment
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
• Ability to navigate and use an online portal system
• All HVAC technicians must have EPA certification to comply with new refrigerant regulations
• General Liability Insurance is required; COI must be provided
• W9 form with a valid Tax ID is required
• Completion of onboarding video training with a live vendor representative is required before receiving work orders

Nice To Haves

• Minimum of 3+ years of experience in plumbing, HVAC, electrical, carpentry, or related trades
