About The Position

This site is a mid-rise style apartment community with 310 units on property. The schedule is Tuesday - Saturday, with availability to be on call once every 3 weeks when fully staffed. The role requires intermediate competency with plumbing, electrical, appliance repair, painting, and carpentry. Prior multi-family apartment maintenance industry experience is a plus. Must be available to be part of a rotating on call schedule for after hours and weekend emergency response. For the fifth year in a row, Windsor Communities is the recipient of the 2025 Kingsley Excellence Award achieving the top award for Overall Customer Service.

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years’ experience with multifamily residential, commercial or hotel maintenance.
• Familiarity with building safety systems including the fire systems (sprinklers/alarms).
• Ability to use smart devices and property management software for maintaining accurate records and work order completion.
• Advanced knowledge of hand tools and basic power tools.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, some weekend work and ability to participate in the on-call rotations.

Nice To Haves

• Prior multi-family apartment maintenance industry experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot, diagnose, repair, and apply preventative measures with apartment homes, common areas, mechanical rooms, plumbing, electrical and appliance areas.
