About The Position

We are seeking a Service Technician for Hampton Point Apartments in Silver Spring, MD. This role involves responding to maintenance work orders, performing routine and preventative maintenance, preparing apartment homes for new residents (turnovers), and handling general repairs in plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and appliance maintenance. The ideal candidate will maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment and participate in a rotating on-call schedule for emergency repairs.

Requirements

• Strong customer service and communication skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Hands-on knowledge of basic plumbing, electrical, and carpentry
• Availability for after-hours emergency response (evenings, weekends, holidays)
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
• High school diploma or equivalent

Nice To Haves

• 3–5 years of residential maintenance experience preferred
• HVAC experience/certification preferred
