About The Position
Join Our Team as a Service Supervisor at Link Apartments® Manchester. Grubb Properties is looking for a Service Supervisor who’s ready to take charge of the maintenance operations at our beautiful community, Link Apartments® Manchester, and ensure every detail is cared for. This role involves leading the maintenance team, maintaining building systems, overseeing unit turns, managing inventory, ensuring pool operations, leading safety efforts, coordinating workflows with the Property Manager, assisting with hiring, controlling the budget, and building trust with residents by ensuring a well-maintained and responsive living environment.
Requirements
- 5+ years of hands-on experience in property maintenance
- CPO certification required
- CFC Type I & II required, Universal preferred
- Experience in Class A multifamily buildings
- Expertise in HVAC, plumbing, carpentry, appliance repair, and electrical systems
- Strong organizational, leadership, and communication skills
- Must have reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license
Nice To Haves
- Experience with Yardi and HappyCo is a plus
Responsibilities
- Lead the Maintenance Team: Supervise and train maintenance staff, manage vendor relationships, and ensure top-quality work.
- Maintain HVAC, plumbing, electrical systems, appliances, roofs, gutters, and more.
- Oversee apartment turns and ensure all move-in ready homes meet our high standards.
- Track tools and supplies to keep everything running efficiently.
- Ensure our pool is clean, safe, and inviting.
- Lead safety efforts and adhere to all standards and regulations.
- Work with the Property Manager to schedule routine and emergency maintenance.
- Assist with hiring and onboarding new maintenance staff.
- Monitor expenditures and help manage maintenance within budget.
- Build trust and rapport with residents by ensuring a well-maintained and responsive living environment.
