As the Maintenance Supervisor, you'll play a critical role in ensuring the community is safe, beautiful, and operating at its highest standards while helping establish a positive living experience for every resident who calls The Simone Apartments home. Requirements

  • 3 to 5 years of apartment maintenance experience required
  • Valid HVAC Certification (Type I & II or Universal) required
  • Experience leading and developing maintenance teams
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation to respond to on-call emergencies
  • Ability to provide and maintain personal basic maintenance tools
  • Strong knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, electrical, appliance repair, and general building maintenance
  • Strong computer literacy and basic technology skills
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Ability to work independently while maintaining excellent customer service and professionalism

Responsibilities

  • Lead the maintenance and upkeep of the community by troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining HVAC systems, plumbing, electrical systems, appliances, building interiors and exteriors, and other essential property components.
  • Help establish the foundation for a successful lease-up community by managing service requests, scheduling apartment turns, maintaining inventory, ordering supplies, coordinating contractors, and implementing preventative maintenance programs.
  • Recruit, train, mentor, and supervise maintenance staff while fostering a culture of accountability, teamwork, safety, and exceptional service.
  • Partner with office staff, residents, prospective residents, and vendors to provide outstanding customer service and timely solutions.
