About The Position

AIR Communities is hiring an Apartment Maintenance Manager for their apartment community, Solis at Flamingo, in Las Vegas, NV. Service/Maintenance Managers play a crucial role in making apartment communities a great place to live by taking pride in the appearance and maintenance of the properties. AIR Communities utilizes industry-leading technology for a modern approach to maintenance, enabling Maintenance Teams to assist residents efficiently. This role involves turning apartments for new residents and resolving service requests for current residents, with each day presenting new challenges.

Requirements

  • At least 3 years of experience with technical maintenance and facilities management in the property management industry.
  • 1-3 years of experience leading a team of people in customer service and asset maintenance
  • A reliable mode of transportation
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, 7-day work weeks (depending on community needs and seasonality), and on-call shifts (at least one week a month)
  • Comfort with physical activity as you must be able and willing to move heavy equipment and machinery
  • Ability to read, write, and speak English

Responsibilities

  • Lead and develop a team of 1+ direct reports
  • Provide exemplary service to residents and team members
  • Manage all aspects of property maintenance, including vendor relationships, service staff, preventative maintenance, apartment turns, and resident service requests
  • Communicate property maintenance and capital needs to management and ensure these needs are addressed
  • Ensure the property adheres to AIR operating procedures/guidelines, regulations, and other compliance matters, including Environmental Health & Safety
  • Manage budget efficiently to maximize return on investment while maintaining the highest level of quality and customer service
