About The Position

Living Well Homes is seeking an experienced apartment Housekeeper for one of its beautiful properties in Indiana. The Housekeeper will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness of common areas, the office, occasional turn units, and the general upkeep of the property to enhance and maintain community and curb appeal. The company emphasizes valuing employee skills and opinions.

Requirements

Ability to take direction and assume responsibility for performance.
Ability to exercise good judgment, at times in stressful situations.
Knowledge and ability to perform maintenance and repair of property grounds.
Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing.
Ability to interact professionally with people in face to face situations.

Responsibilities

Conducts all business in accordance with policies and procedures, state and federal laws, i.e., OSHA, ADA, Fair Housing, etc.
Constantly observes conditions of apartment property throughout the community and immediately reports and/or initiates action to correct unsafe conditions.
Ensures the storage areas always remain locked when not in use.
Clean and maintain model units.
Clean all vacant apartments as directed by the Manager or Assistant Manager.
Performs additional duties requested by the Manager or Assistant Manager.
Inform management of supplies needed on a weekly basis.
Sweeping, vacuuming, cleaning windows and walls of common areas
Routine interior building cleaning
Leasing Office cleaning
Model unit cleaning
Laundry facility cleaning
Clubhouse cleaning
Restroom cleaning and sanitation
Window and glass cleaning
Trash and recycling removal
Surface sanitizing
Floor care, including sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming
Dusting as needed
Other responsibilities as needed
