Van Buren Village Apartments is seeking a Full-Time Groundskeeper to maintain the cleanliness, safety, and welcoming atmosphere of their 41-acre community in Kettering, OH. Requirements

General groundskeeping or landscaping knowledge
Ability to safely operate landscape equipment
Willingness to learn OSHA compliance within 15 days
Strong customer service and a team-focused attitude
Must enjoy working in all weather conditions
Pre-employment screenings, including a criminal background check and a drug screening

Nice To Haves

Janitorial, grounds, or general cleaning experience
Irrigation knowledge

Responsibilities

Maintain the overall cleanliness of exterior areas: parking lots, curbs, hallways, dumpster areas, playgrounds, sport courts
Perform seasonal cleanup: flower beds, planting, raking, fertilizing, leaf removal
Conduct snow removal when needed
Assist maintenance staff with basic tasks (moving appliances, inspections, preventative maintenance)
Issue pet violation notices when applicable
Maintain a professional, positive attitude with residents and staff
Follow all OSHA and Monarch safety procedures
