About The Position

AIR Communities is hiring an Apartment Community Manager for Villas at Towngate, an apartment community in Moreno Valley, California. The Community Manager is a business leader responsible for community performance through operational excellence, financial management, resident satisfaction, and team development. The role leads a team of leasing and maintenance professionals, including at least two direct reports, and oversees daily operations, financial results, occupancy, revenue growth, and resident retention. The typical schedule is Tuesday through Saturday, 10:00 a.m. to 6:30 p.m., though hours may vary based on business needs and seasonality. Reliable transportation is required.

Requirements

At least 2 years of experience as an Apartment Community Manager overseeing multifamily community operations, financial performance, occupancy, and resident experience.
Proven experience leading and developing onsite property management teams.
Strong background in customer service, sales, resident retention, and revenue generation.
Demonstrated ability to manage budgets, financial reporting, and operational performance.
Experience using property management platforms such as Entrata, OneSite, SmartRent, Salesforce, or similar systems.
Strong leadership, communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to analyze performance metrics and implement strategies that drive results.
Reliable transportation.
Availability to work a schedule that typically includes Tuesday through Saturday, 10:00 a.m. to 6:30 p.m.; hours may vary based on business needs and seasonality.

Responsibilities

Lead, motivate, and develop a team of leasing and maintenance professionals, including at least two direct reports.
Deliver exceptional customer service and foster a positive resident experience.
Oversee day-to-day community operations and ensure company standards and service expectations are met.
Manage the property's budget, revenue performance, financial goals, and expense controls.
Drive occupancy, revenue growth, resident retention, and overall community performance.
Analyze operational and financial metrics to identify opportunities for improvement and growth.
Ensure compliance with company policies, fair housing regulations, and other applicable laws.
Create a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous development within the team.
