About The Position

This position is located at the Saint Elizabeth Campus in Washington D.C. and requires a SECRET clearance. The role involves tracking data and activities related to daily, weekly, and monthly acquisitions, compiling reports and schedules for the APAC and CGHQ. It also includes identifying and developing methods to streamline operating procedures, reports, and systems to improve operations and integrate acquisition activities with sustainment activities. The role requires conducting complex studies, research, and analysis to evaluate, integrate, and improve productivity of acquisition-related activities for the APAC in Elizabeth City, NC. Additionally, the position serves as a subject matter expert for technical data, monitors configuration control of data, line replaceable units (LRUs), and associated equipment, and assists with commercial vendor research to identify and validate materiel supporting aviation acquisitions.

Requirements

  • At least three years of experience in depot-level environment developing sustainment strategies for aircraft upgrades.
  • At least three years of experience applying knowledge of USCG procedures (USCG aeronautical practices as defined in Commandant Instruction Manual CIM 13020.1 (series) utilizing the Asset Computerized Maintenance system (ACMS), Asset Logistics Management Information System (ALMIS), and Asset Maintenance Management Information System (AMMIS)).
  • Experience creating and maintaining schedules using Microsoft Project and Visio.

Responsibilities

  • Track data as well as daily, weekly, and monthly acquisitions activities and compile reports and schedules for overall status for the APAC and CGHQ.
  • Identify and develop methods, plans, and documentation to streamline operating procedures, reports and systems to improve operations, and encourage long-range planning to assure the acquisition activities are integrated with the sustainment activities.
  • Conduct complex studies, research, and analysis to evaluate, integrate, and improve productivity of acquisition-related activities for the APAC in Elizabeth City, NC.
  • Serve as a subject matter expert for technical data, monitor configuration control of data and the line replaceable units (LRUs) and equipment they support.
  • Assist with commercial vendor research to identify and validate materiel supporting aviation acquisitions.
