Requirements

Extensive experience (15+ years) in accounts payable, supplier refunds, or related financial roles.
Proficiency in refund processing, bank reconciliation, and GL account management.
Strong attention to detail with excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work independently in a remote setting and collaborate on-site as required.
Advanced knowledge of financial software and MS Excel.

Experience supporting financial reporting for leadership.
Background in special handling of checks or payment processes.
Familiarity with large corporate finance environments.

Responsibilities

Accurately record all incoming supplier refunds to ensure timely and correct financial documentation.
Perform daily bank reconciliations for refund-related accounts, identifying and resolving discrepancies.
Conduct thorough research to determine the appropriate application or disposition for all refund cases.
Prepare and post financial entries for transferring refunds to the correct supplier or general ledger accounts.
Support monthly leadership reporting by compiling and analyzing refund data.
Assist with weekly check special handling requirements as needed.
Take on additional tasks as assigned to support the finance organization and enhance team performance.
