About The Position

Levy Restaurants provides world class food and retail operations at the United Center, home to the Chicago Blackhawks and Bulls. We are currently looking for a talented individual to fill the hourly full-time position of Accounts Payable Assistant. The Accounts Payable Assistant will report directly to our Accounts Payable Manager with a dotted line to our Purchasing Director.

Requirements

• At least 4 years of Accounts Payable experience
• Expert level data entry skills (both speed and accuracy)
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
• Strong computer skills and ability to navigate complex accounting and purchasing systems
• Proficiency in Excel

Responsibilities

• Timely and accurate input of purchase orders in inventory system
• Timely and accurate input of vendor invoices to be paid
• Reconciling Purchase Orders to final invoices to ensure accuracy
• Reconciling vendor statements to ensure past due invoices are paid
• Fielding emails/calls from vendors and resolving past due invoices
• Interacting with the Levy Home Office to ensure resolution on any payables needs
• Assisting with accrual compilation and other month end duties
• General administrative assistance for Purchasing/Warehouse Dept
