About The Position

Wearwell is a global industry leader in the anti-fatigue matting market. This role is for an AP & AR Specialist to join the Finance team. The position is Monday to Friday, 7:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. It is a hybrid role with work from home flexibility following a training period, allowing for remote work on Mondays and Fridays.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent and five (5) years of job-related experience and/or equivalent education, training, and experience.
Prior experience in manufacturing, distribution, or related industries required.
Intermediate proficiency with MS Office suite.
Demonstrate effective problem solving and interpersonal skills.
Attention to detail and focus on producing quality work.
Demonstrated flexibility and ability to work with others in a positive manner.
Reliable attendance is required.

ERP experience desired.

Responsibilities

Administer A/P process from receipt of invoice through payment, ensuring timely and accurate posting to the General Ledger.
Resolve PO/invoice discrepancies when appropriate.
Update 5-weeks Cash Flow Forecast (AP & AR).
Invoicing and posting of all customer receipts in a timely manner; communicating regularly with customers ensuring timely payments.
Posts all incoming cash receipts including ACH, lockbox, credit card and checks and disburses incoming mail.
Establishes payment terms for new customers (perform credit checks).
Actively work aged receivables.
Intercompany balance management.
Support the Accounting department with miscellaneous projects.
Display a desire for continued professional development.
React positively to change.
Perform other duties as requested.
