Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in a related field and/or 1-3 years related experience and/or training.
  • Basic Mathematical Skills
  • Intermediate Computer Skills: Ability to perform more complex computer tasks and has knowledge of various computer programs.
  • Full Professional Proficiency: Ability to speak, read, and write fluently and accurately on all levels pertinent to professional needs.
  • High Reasoning: Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where there is only limited standardization. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions that may be provided in various forms.
  • Ability to demonstrate attention to detail.
  • Customer Service: Responds promptly to customer inquiries. Manages potentially difficult, unpredictable, or volatile customer situations, while maintaining positive relationship.
  • Holds self and others accountable for deliverables, continuously raises the bar in terms of quality of work-product delivered.

Responsibilities

  • Processes and audits customer billings/credits, records payments to customer accounts, manages collection activities, works with customers and Business Units to troubleshoot issues, maintains Accounts Receivable records, and updates Agings and bad debt analysis.
  • Maintains customer billing records in ERP system.
  • Issues invoices to customers.
  • Posts cash received to customer accounts.
  • Ensures timely payments by contacting customers and collecting outstanding balances.
  • Research account disputes and billing discrepancies, ensure proper accounting entries for all billing and receipts.
  • Partners with Business Units to ensure all orders are properly billed in a timely manner.
  • Downloads daily all ACH’s, Wires, and lockbox payments.
  • Manages and audits approved CMR’s for proper documentation, creates and issues customer credits and rebills as required.
  • Also maintains the data for the monthly CMR tracking.
  • Creates and maintains credit history files.
  • Identifies risk of bad debt or financial exposure.
  • Maintains and distributes daily sales tracking file.
  • Accounts Receivable month end reporting.
  • Assists other Accounting department personnel as required.
  • May require overtime and/or weekend work.
  • Adherence to all PCI policies, procedures, rules.
  • Updates and presents applicable metrics reports.
  • Performs month-end reporting and Balance Sheet reconciliations for related accounts.
  • Participates in all regular and required department meetings.
