Requirements

5 to 10 years of progressive business, financial, or high-volume accounts payable experience.
Bachelor’s degree (BA/BS) in Finance, Accounting, Business, or equivalent practical experience.
Demonstrated hands-on experience using Oracle Accounts Payable systems.
Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office, specifically with Excel and Access.
Familiarity with Massachusetts sales/use tax rules and IRS 1099 compliance regulations.
Excellent communication skills, a high level of professional integrity, and the ability to manage competing priorities.
High school degree or equivalent required unless otherwise noted above

Responsibilities

Oversee daily department workflows from invoice receipt to final payment execution.
Ensure all invoices comply with Massachusetts sales and use tax regulations.
Manage year-end 1099 tax reporting and compliance requirements for our vendor network.
Perform critical month-end close reporting, financial analysis, and general ledger reconciliations.
Identify system efficiencies and update standard operating policies to optimize workflows.
Serve as the primary point of contact for troubleshooting system errors and resolving vendor escalated queries.
