Antiterrorism/Force Protection (AT/FP) Analyst Position Summary: Position Description: Antiterrorism/Force Protection (AT/FP) Analyst Location: National Capital Region Work Posture: On-site Travel: Occasional Deployment: No Drug screening: Yes Security Clearance: Citizenship: TS/SCI Must be a U.S. Citizen Education A bachelor's degree in a security related discipline and a minimum of five years documented qualifying experience in the areas below is required. Ten years of documented experience may be substituted for a bachelor's degree. Required Experience Knowledge and experience in a variety of staff/action officer functions involved in AT/FP PHYSEC policy, planning, assessment, and administration at a military service headquarters. Such experience must include one or more of the following: development and implementation of AT/FP policy at the tactical, operational, and strategic level, the integration of threat information into AT/FP programs, analysis of problem areas or situations identified through AT/FP assessments, training, intermediate staff and general staff level personnel, and development and execution of exercises, at Tabletop to Full Scale levels. The AT/FP Analyst must be a graduate of an AT Level II equivalent course. Demonstrate the ability to communicate by developing complex technical and security materials, such as USCG policies, Tactics Techniques and Procedures, job aids, reports and documentation manuals; and distilling and translating them into easily understood materials suitable for a variety of audiences, including government employees, supervisors, and the general public. Additionally, the Contractor must possess the ability to review and edit complex materials for required USCG format, content, style, grammar, completeness, technical accuracy, and audience suitability. Further, they must possess knowledge of technical communication concepts (e.g., information design, editing practices and software applications). Possess the ability to develop, refine, or modify materials containing complex, technical, security ideas from a variety of sources for a variety of audiences. Additionally, the Contractor must have the ability to prepare clear and concise written documents in accordance with the USCG Correspondence Manual, COMDINST 5216.4 series that compels others to take a course of action, instruct others in carrying out activities, or explain the purpose, goals, and objectives of a policy or regulations. Possess the ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with a multi-discipline of subject matter experts, and in facilitating and gaining organizational consensus. Possess an intermediate or higher skill level with various types of information technology applications, such as Microsoft Office, including MS Word, Access, Excel, DOD365, and PowerPoint. The Analyst must have the knowledge, skill, and ability to obtain and maintain appropriate access to use government databases (as required) such as Modified Infrastructure Survey Tool (MIST), Interagency Security Committee - Compliance System (ISC-CS) and the Homeland Security Information Network (HSIN).
