About The Position

As part of the Anti-Trafficking Mobile Team, the Anti-Trafficking Clinician will provide clinical services for commercially sexually exploited (CSE) and trafficked children and adults. The purpose of the Anti-Trafficking Clinician is to ensure that the victims/clients and their non-offending caregivers are provided with expert clinical services based on assessed needs.

Requirements

Master’s level degree in Mental Health Counseling, Clinical Social Work, or a master’s degree with a concentration in one of the areas of Clinical Counseling.
Experience with clients who have experienced complex trauma including sexual abuse and/ or sexual exploitation.

Responsibilities

Provide individual, and in certain instances provide family, and group therapy for youth and adult victims of sex-trafficking and their non-offending caregivers, as applicable.
Employ evidence-based interventions and tools while providing counseling.
Document and report to referral providers in accordance with treatment goals.
Complete mental health screenings: biopsychosocial assessments, treatment plans and progress notes, within a timely manner.
Facilitate crisis intervention care to support the immediate needs of clients or victims.
Provide 24/7 on-call schedule as assigned.
Participate in multidisciplinary teams to present cases for appropriate treatment.
Complete documentation as required by funding entities and referral sources in accordance with department, organization policy and procedures, and state requirements.
Provide consultation to referral agencies as needed to ensure appropriate interventions to meet the needs of CSE clients or survivors.
Facilitate or participate in seminars, workshops, and training as directed.
