About The Position

As part of the Anti-Trafficking Mobile Team, the Anti-Trafficking Clinician will provide clinical services for commercially sexually exploited (CSE) and trafficked children and adults. The purpose of the Anti-Trafficking Clinician is to ensure that the victims/clients and their non-offending caregivers are provided with expert clinical services based on assessed needs.

Requirements

  • Master’s level degree in Mental Health Counseling, Clinical Social Work, or a master’s degree with a concentration in one of the areas of Clinical Counseling.
  • Experience with clients who have experienced complex trauma including sexual abuse and/ or sexual exploitation.

Responsibilities

  • Provide individual, and in certain instances provide family, and group therapy for youth and adult victims of sex-trafficking and their non-offending caregivers, as applicable.
  • Employ evidence-based interventions and tools while providing counseling.
  • Document and report to referral providers in accordance with treatment goals.
  • Complete mental health screenings: biopsychosocial assessments, treatment plans and progress notes, within a timely manner.
  • Facilitate crisis intervention care to support the immediate needs of clients or victims.
  • Provide 24/7 on-call schedule as assigned.
  • Participate in multidisciplinary teams to present cases for appropriate treatment.
  • Complete documentation as required by funding entities and referral sources in accordance with department, organization policy and procedures, and state requirements.
  • Provide consultation to referral agencies as needed to ensure appropriate interventions to meet the needs of CSE clients or survivors.
  • Facilitate or participate in seminars, workshops, and training as directed.
