About The Position

Anti-Money Laundering (AML) Sr. Investigator II - Transaction Monitoring Operations Fraud Team The Anti-Money Laundering (AML) Sr. Investigator II supervises various AML processes, which might include suspicious activity investigations, currency transaction reporting, global sanctions screening, enhanced due diligence or other AML processes. The associate will work closely with AML Process Managers to perform other critical functions. The associate is also responsible for planning and conducting processes related to anti-money laundering and global sanction activities as well as managing the workflow of the AML analysis. The AML Sr. Investigator II coaches their team and teaches others about AML processes through training and education.

Requirements

• High School Diploma, GED or equivalent certification
• At least 1 year of Anti-Money Laundering (AML) experience within financial services
• Strong analytical writing and communication skills
• Excellent Organizational and time management skills
• Excellent research skills including experience with online search tools

Nice To Haves

• Bachelor’s Degree
• 4+ years of Anti-Money Laundering (AML) experience within the financial services industry
• 2+ years of people management experience
• 2+ years of Microsoft Office Suite or Google Suite experience
• 1+ year of Process Management experience
• Certified Anti-Money Laundering Specialist (CAMS) certification

Responsibilities

• Operational Management; supervise daily workflow, operational queues, and metrics
• Manage, develop, train, coach, and lead a team of investigators
• Write and deliver performance reviews and provide continuous coaching to associates
• Report (verbally and written) potential findings to management in a timely manner
• Conduct, review, and evaluate findings using AML/KYC/CIP knowledge
• Subject Matter Expert (SME) in AML; provide direction and assistance on AML related issues and investigations
