CesiumAstro is seeking an Antenna Range Technician 2 to join their team. This role involves supporting antenna range operations, building and maintaining antenna test setups, executing antenna measurement campaigns, and producing reliable test results. The technician will work with state-of-the-art antenna test facilities and instrumentation, including anechoic chambers, near-field and boresight antenna ranges, positioners, spectrum analyzers, VNAs, signal generators, automated power supplies/loads, and data acquisition systems. The position is heavily focused on antenna range execution, test setup integration, facility readiness, and measurement quality. Candidates should be comfortable working hands-on with RF cabling, mechanical fixtures, positioning systems, test assets, and sensitive hardware. Experience with phased array antenna testing, antenna measurements, or automated range systems is preferred. The role requires supporting engineers with test execution, troubleshooting, configuring instrumentation, coordinating range operations, and maintaining test environments. Candidates should be comfortable working from drawings, diagrams, schematics, and test procedures. As a small company, the team "wears many hats," so candidates should be comfortable with a varied workflow including multitasking between range setup, test execution, equipment maintenance, lab organization, and inventory management.
