About The Position

This Mid-Level Antenna Test Technician role is designed to build on your Mechanical and Test Technician skills and abilities while providing continued development to enhance your skills for future opportunities that may include other more senior team contributor roles and advancement opportunities. In this role, you will support Antenna testing using RF equipment and Anechic Chambers at our Littleton, Colorado manufacturing facility. This role is will primarily work 1st shift, 9-80 schedule (every other Friday off), shift starts at 6a.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent/combined education.
  • Basic computer skills including experience using Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
  • Able to work alternate shifts when required to support ongoing business operations-OT is necessary in this position as is the ability to work occasional holiday and weekends to support key critical business operations.
  • Able to lift up to 40 pounds.
  • U S Citizen with ability to obtain and maintain a Secret Clearance.

Nice To Haves

  • Ability to read and understand electrical schematics or process flow diagrams.
  • Hands on experience with torque, wire routing, and other assembly processes.
  • Knowledge of mechanical skills (i.e. basic piping, mechanical assembly).
  • Familiarity using electrical multimeters and other test equipment.
  • Low voltage electrical wiring skills.
  • Basic understanding of instrumentation and process control.
  • Basic understanding of Programmable Logic Controllers (PLC) and ladder logic.
  • In technical or production positions, may determine methods, operations, sequences, develops, and/or modifies products and equipment to requirements.
  • Understand basic troubleshooting principles.
  • Ability to work in a team environment.
  • Solid Interpersonal communication skills.

Responsibilities

  • Support Antenna testing using RF equipment and Anechic Chambers.
  • Ability to decipher and follow various engineering specifications.
  • Comprehend and follow work instructions.
  • Additional duties may be assigned by management.
  • Support manufacturing operations as required.
  • Suggest, evaluate, implement and sustain process improvements.
