About The Position
The Anodizing Racker is responsible for preparing and loading aluminum parts onto racks for anodizing, ensuring proper placement for coating, and unloading and inspecting finished products. This role plays a key part in the quality and efficiency of the anodizing process. 2nd shift hours are Monday - Friday from 3:30 p.m. - 2:00 a.m., with Saturday work required.
Requirements
- Ability to perform physical work in a manufacturing environment
- Frequent standing, walking, reaching, and handling materials
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs; team or forklift assistance required for heavier items
- Regular exposure to temperature extremes (heat, humidity, cold), loud noise, dust
- Requires close and color vision for quality inspection
- Must wear hearing protection and other PPE at all times
- Work involves standing and moving for most of the shift in a non-climate-controlled environment

- Mechanical aptitude preferred
- Previous experience in a labor-intensive or industrial setting a plus
Responsibilities
- Adjusts rack configurations to accommodate various part sizes and batches; uses hand tools to secure connections and ensure proper electrical contact.
- Hangs aluminum parts on racks with attention to maximizing rack capacity and proper spacing for even anodizing coverage.
- Unloads finished parts, inspects for coating quality, and prepares them for the next stage by lining receiving racks and stacking items appropriately.
- Follows all safety procedures and reports unsafe conditions; maintains a clean and organized work area.
