About The Position

The Anodizer is responsible for processing material through the anodize line using overhead cranes with minimal supervision. This role requires efficient production by timing customer loads to maximize process tank usage and a thorough understanding of all tank procedures, temperatures, running charts, special instructions, rinse procedures, and seal times for various finishes. The Anodizer will also maintain required paperwork and process logs, clean tanks according to schedule, and ensure the safe and proper use of all tools and equipment. Reporting unsafe conditions and maintaining a clean work area are also key responsibilities. Additional duties may include racking, un-racking, and oven operation, all while adhering to safety rules and regulations.

Requirements

  • Proficiency in operating all tank procedures, process tank temperatures, running charts for # 1 & # 2 anodize tanks, special running instructions, proper rinse procedures, seal times and tanks for different finishes.
  • Ability to maintain required paperwork and process logs.
  • Knowledge of cleaning anodize and etch tanks per specified schedule.
  • Responsibility for proper care, safe and proper use of all tools, equipment and material.
  • Ability to report any unsafe conditions or equipment to Supervisor.
  • Ability to keep work area clean.
  • Willingness to perform other functions in the department, such as racking, un-racking, and oven operation.
  • Adherence to all safety rules and regulations outlined in company policies.

  • Maintains required paperwork and process logs.
  • Cleans anodize and etch tanks in his/her charge per specified schedule.
  • Responsible for proper care, safe and proper use of all tools, equipment and material used in the performance of required duties.
  • Reports any unsafe conditions or equipment to Supervisor.
  • Keeps work area clean.
  • Performs other functions in the department, such as racking, un-racking, and oven operation.
  • Abides by all safety rules and regulations outlined in company policies.
