About The Position

The Mid Atlantic Annuity Internal Wholesaler will proactively partner with an External Wholesaler to develop and grow sales in alignment with business plans. This individual will be engaged in all areas of Annuity sales distribution, including illustrations, product knowledge, sales strategies, marketing, and commissions. Key partners include Guardian Product, Distribution, Financial Professionals, Marketing, and Sales. You are A great teammate who is goal-oriented and focused on success. You have a strong ability to build and maintain relationships with clients and key partners.

Requirements

Life License Series 6
Bachelor’s degree
Demonstrated understanding of the competitive landscape, financial markets, and industry related topics.
Knowledge of and experience with annuities – minimum 3 years experience
Strong understanding of competitive marketplace.
Proven ability to show leadership in establishing excellent relationships with key support areas inside Guardian.
Excellent Relationship Management/Client Relations skills.
Demonstrate abilities in time management; including managing multiple projects and meeting strict deadlines.
Must be legally authorized to work in the United States, without the need for employer sponsorship.

Responsibilities

Work collaboratively with External Wholesaler to build and manage relationships within territory.
Proactively follow up on annuity illustrations and large cases.
Provide advanced case design support.
Work with External Annuity Wholesaler to identify new sales opportunities across product lines.
Continually monitor practices of competition and report findings to Management when appropriate.
Generate comprehensive reports, presentations and ad hoc special projects as needed.
