Annuity Analyst (Charlotte, NC (Hybrid) or Remote)
About The Position
The Annuity Analyst reads and interprets specifications for the annuity illustrations platform, develops and executes test plans, and reports and analyzes discrepancies. The role supports Brighthouse Financial by providing accurate, timely annuity illustrations to Sales Desk and Brokerage Firm partners to assist with sales of Brighthouse annuity products. The position researches the illustrations platform, verifies and documents system access, develops testing approaches and expected results, performs iterative testing, records defects, tests illustrations against actuarial data, reviews specifications, participates in specification walkthroughs, and provides weekly project status updates. The role may be performed remotely or in the office under the company’s flexible hybrid work model.

Responsibilities
- Research and understand the annuity illustrations platform.
- Perform daily verification and documentation of system access.
- Create test plans and matrices that define the testing approach, assumptions, and expected results.
- Perform iterative testing by executing the test matrix, recording defects, and analyzing discrepancies.
- Provide weekly project status update reports.
- Test annuity illustrations against actuarial data.
- Review all illustration specifications.
- Participate in specification walkthroughs.
