About The Position

BASIS Ahwatukee is seeking a part-time Annual Teacher Fund Coordinator to join its team. The role executes the Fundraising Department’s strategy and manages the Annual Teacher Fund campaign at the school level. Reporting to the Director of Fundraising, the coordinator facilitates and supports all aspects of fundraising for the campaign at the school. The position requires about 15 hours per week.

Requirements

• Be eligible to work in Arizona public schools.
• Be able to obtain a valid fingerprint clearance through the Arizona Department of Public Safety.
• Be committed to the mission of BASIS Charter Schools and the Annual Teacher Fund.
• Have exceptional written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to make phone calls and have face-to-face conversations with community members.
• Be meticulous, initiative-taking, and proactive.
• Be able to maintain confidentiality and professionalism.
• High school diploma required.
• Be proficient in Microsoft Office.

Nice To Haves

• Associate, bachelor’s, or advanced degree from a regionally accredited college or university.
• Customer service, fundraising, or marketing experience.
• Some experience with Salesforce, Canva, and Click & Pledge.

Responsibilities

• Communicate and promote the mission of the Annual Teacher Fund to build campaign awareness and achieve established goals.
• Implement campaign strategies and customize them as needed for the school community.
• Maximize community participation through campaign directives.
• Coordinate fundraising events in alignment with campaign strategies and attend school events to promote the Annual Teacher Fund.
• Cultivate and recognize donors.
• Attend bi-weekly meetings and provide monthly reporting while keeping records current.
• Enter fundraising data.
