About The Position

BASIS Plano is seeking a part-time Annual Teacher Fund Coordinator to execute Fundraising Department strategy and manage the Annual Teacher Fund campaign at the school level. The position reports to the Director of Fundraising and facilitates and supports fundraising activities for the campaign at the school level.

The Coordinator communicates and promotes the Annual Teacher Fund’s mission, implements campaign strategies, builds community participation, coordinates fundraising events, cultivates and recognizes donors, and maintains fundraising records and data. The role includes bi-weekly meetings and monthly reporting, as well as attending school events to promote the campaign.

Requirements

• Be eligible to work in public schools.
• Be able to obtain valid fingerprint clearance.
• Be committed to the mission of BASIS Charter Schools and the Annual Teacher Fund.
• Have exceptional written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to make phone calls and speak face-to-face with community members.
• Be meticulous, initiative-taking, and proactive.
• Be able to maintain confidentiality and professionalism.
• Have a high school diploma.
• Be proficient in Microsoft Office.

Nice To Haves

• An associate, bachelor's, or advanced degree from a regionally accredited college or university.
• Customer service, fundraising, or marketing experience.
• Experience with Salesforce, Canva, and Click & Pledge.

Responsibilities

• Communicate and promote the mission of the Annual Teacher Fund to build campaign awareness and achieve established goals.
• Implement campaign strategies and customize them as needed for the school community.
• Maximize community participation through campaign directives.
• Coordinate fundraising events in alignment with campaign strategies and attend school events to promote the Annual Teacher Fund.
• Cultivate and recognize donors.
• Attend bi-weekly meetings and provide monthly reporting while keeping records current.
• Enter fundraising data.
