The Annual Outage Coordinator will provide visible and active leadership in delivering excellent safety results. This role serves as the lead for all efforts around the planning of the Annual Outage, including conducting meetings and building the outage plan. Responsibilities include developing detailed, resource-loaded task level schedules, ensuring task readiness by verifying part availability, permits, and approved documentation before the outage begins, and guaranteeing that the schedule includes all safety protocols like Lockout/Tagout (LOTO), Pre-Job Briefings, and Post-Maintenance Testing (PMT). The coordinator will lead monthly, weekly, and daily progress and alignment meetings across different departments to manage constraints and resolve scheduling conflicts. Additionally, the role involves analyzing data on uncompleted actions, tracking downtime costs, and developing critique reports to improve future cycle reliability. The position also supports training processes in alignment with GMTI, builds effective systems and materials such as maintenance procedures (SOP) and troubleshooting documents (TCC), coordinates within departments to optimize mill and area reliability/maintenance needs, and seeks out and implements best practices. The Annual Outage Coordinator supports the manufacturing work systems (MWS) process, executes daily maintenance work at a high productivity level, serves as a contractor coordinator (owner’s rep) as required, provides support for capital project development and implementation, and fulfills the weekend duty team leadership role for the Maintenance department.
