About The Position

Graham provides life-changing tools and resources for children, young adults and families who face some of the most difficult obstacles caused by poverty, racial injustice, and lack of access to educational opportunities, living wage employment, quality healthcare, and affordable housing. We collaborate with communities and strong partners to create and implement innovative strategies so everyone can lead healthy, joyful, and successful lives. The Development Team works with donors, prospects, Foundation and Corporate funders, and government officials to raise unrestricted and restricted funding in support of Graham’s mission. The Development Team focuses on linking mission to action by attaining funding. Relationship building, superior communications, and deep collaboration are characteristics of the Team and how it effects change internally and externally as key connection agents for Graham.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree required, discipline non-specific
  • 3-5 years of experience in similar positions demonstrating multichannel activation
  • Raisers’ Edge experience + Blackbaud training preferred
  • Microsoft Office experience a plus
  • Constant Contact email marketing platform experience preferred
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Graphic design experience and aptitude
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and tight deadlines
  • Meticulous attention to detail
  • Ability to self-direct work as well as collaborate with others
  • Must be willing to travel throughout NYC as needed

Responsibilities

  • Design and execute multi-channel fundraising campaigns, including direct mail, email, and social media, to acquire, retain, and upgrade donors.
  • Foster relationships through digital and direct outreach.
  • Analyze performance metrics to optimize stewardship.
  • Develop and execute full-cycle annual giving campaigns including direct mail appeals, email solicitation, and social media fundraising campaigns.
  • Collect stories, photographs and other collateral for multi-channel campaigns.
  • Craft on-brand messages for multi-channel activation.
  • Manage Graham’s portfolio of email subscribers, conducting regular, segmented outreach to convert subscribers to donors, engage event attendees, and renew annual gifts.
  • Leverage social media platforms, creating on-brand content and sharing it to engage existing followers and acquire donors in support of Graham’s fundraising initiatives.
  • Coordinate with vendors to produce targeted direct mail appeals, including writing appeal content and overseeing production.
  • Use CRM data, email marketing platform, and social media insights to segment audiences, track campaign performance, and report on donor retention, engagement rates, and ROI.
  • Work closely with colleagues on the Development team to share ideas, best practices, and donor insights.
  • Support fundraising and cultivation events as needed.
