Animal Technician
About The Position
The Animal Technician will join the Monash Animal Research Platform (MARP), supporting high-quality research through the ethical care and management of laboratory animals. As part of a collaborative team, the role contributes to daily animal husbandry, welfare monitoring and facility operations, ensuring high standards of animal care, safety and compliance. The University seeks a reliable, motivated and organised individual with a strong commitment to animal welfare, good communication skills, and the ability to work independently and as part of a team. MARP provides animal services to Monash University researchers and partners across Australia. It is guided by best-practice animal care and continuous improvement, in an environment focused on expertise, innovation and collaboration. The position is based at the Clayton campus and is a continuing, full-time appointment.
