About The Position
Veterinary preceptorships are available to senior level veterinary students for a 6 to 8 week period. Our preceptorship program emphasizes field immobilization techniques, preventive medicine, conservation-oriented research and an international perspective. Please apply early as our schedule typically fills up 18-24 months in advance.
Requirements
- Senior level veterinary student
- Proof of a negative TB test conducted within 30 days of arrival
- Proof of rabies vaccination (or adequate protective titer) within the year prior to starting the preceptorship
- Background check
- Drug screen
- J1 or B1 visa (for international students)
