Responsibilities

• Apprehending, controlling, and confining animals
• Handling situations involving unlicensed, injured, or dangerous animals
• Responding to citizen calls
• Educating the public about animal control laws, policies, and procedures
• Maintaining case files and reports
• Patrolling city parks
• Enforcing ordinances
• Maintaining vehicles and equipment
