About The Position
The Animal Rescue League of Boston is seeking a full-time Animal Care Associate for its Boston location. This role supports the animal population at the Boston Animal Care & Adoption Center by providing daily care and assisting clients with adoption and surrender processes. The position is scheduled for 36 hours per week and pays $18 per hour.
Responsibilities
- Provide animals with food, water, exercise, enrichment, medication, and grooming.
- Clean and disinfect kennels and other shelter areas.
- Guide clients through the adoption process with kindness and compassion.
- Guide clients through the surrender process with kindness and compassion.
- Work as part of a team to support the organization’s care for animals in need.
