About The Position

As an Angiography Technologist, your skills and expertise play an essential role in supporting that mission. In this position, you will perform fluoroscopy and image acquisition (cine) procedures in the Catheterization Laboratory according to physician orders, utilizing sound judgment in exposure factors, imaging techniques, and patient care. Through your commitment to excellence, you will deliver professional, expert care to the patients we serve. Angiography, Cardiovascular, and Electrophysiology Technologists at Legacy provide the highest quality care using advanced technologies for the diagnosis and treatment of cardiovascular conditions in our Cardiovascular (Cath Lab) and Hybrid Labs across Legacy sites. Requirements

  • Completion of education required to obtain applicable national board certification.
  • Current applicable state licensure for Radiological Technologist (LRT) required.
  • Current national registration in Radiography (ARRT-R) required.
  • BLS required.
  • ACLS required - Levels II and III
  • ACLS required for Level I within six months of hire.

Nice To Haves

  • One-year previous experience in the field of Angiography/Cardiac Catheterization preferred (Level I).
  • 1-year of previous experience in the field of Angiography/Cardiac Catheterization required (Level II).
  • Demonstrate proficiency in the operation of Cath Lab x-ray table and equipment (Level II).
  • Demonstrate knowledge of Cath Lab product inventory (Level II).
  • 2-years previous experience in the field of Angiography/Cardiac Catheterization is required (Level III).
  • Demonstrate proficiency in the operation of Emanuel Cath Lab x-ray table equipment (Level III).
  • Demonstrate knowledge of Emanuel Cath Lab product inventory (Level III).
  • Advanced certification (RCIS, CI, VI) preferred - Level III

Responsibilities

  • Provides quality images with accuracy and efficiency, using optimal skills and knowledge of all equipment.
  • Gathers complete documentation of all pertinent information to provide accurate and timely service to customers.
  • Provides for personal and patient care and safety using professional judgment in accordance with written standards so there is no injury to self or others.
  • Practices professional communications, appearance, conduct, punctuality, attendance, and attitude that lead to physician, patient and co-worker respect and confidence.
